I had a truly delightful stay at this hidden gem nestled by the tranquil lake. The surroundings were breathtaking, with water buffalos grazing and a variety of water birds gracing the landscape. One of the highlights was spotting vibrant green parrots and even a majestic peacock perched on the roof. The location was perfect for me as a senior, as it offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere away from the bustling streets of Tissamaharama. It was an ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate after safari adventures and exploring the area. I also appreciated the friendly staff and the reasonably priced restaurant.

The only small downside was the slightly dim lighting in the room due to the need for closed shutters to keep mosquitos at bay. However, this was a minor inconvenience and did not significantly impact my overall experience.
